Toyota is expanding its range of all-electric (BEV) models, reinforcing their role within the company’s multi-technology strategy aimed at achieving carbon neutrality in Europe by 2035. Staying true to its vision of decarbonizing mobility, the Japanese brand unveiled the latest additions to its BEV lineup, founded on the principles of quality, durability, and reliability.
By the end of 2025, Toyota will introduce a series of new models positioned at the core of the B, C, and D-SUV segments of the European market, embodying the brand’s core values of refined and contemporary design, energy-efficient performance, and authentic all-wheel-drive capability. Reflecting Toyota’s renowned commitment to quality, the company offers a Battery Care Program that provides annual battery warranty coverage for up to 10 years from the vehicle’s purchase date or up to one million kilometres of driving.
New Toyota bZ4X:
A D-SUV with a dynamic design and optional XMODE all-wheel drive, first introduced in 2022 as the brand’s inaugural model based on the dedicated eTNGA platform for electric vehicles. In 2025, it received major aesthetic and technological upgrades and will now be offered with two battery options (57.7 kWh and 73.1 kWh), more powerful electric motors delivering up to 343 PS, and a new optional 22 kW onboard charger.
New Toyota C-HR+:
Inspired by the Compact SUV Concept of 2022, this new all-electric C-SUV builds upon the success of the original Toyota C-HR, which has sold more than one million units since 2016. It retains its signature coupe lines and offers a high-quality interior with 416 litres of cargo space. The electric powertrain technology is shared with the new bZ4X, featuring battery options of 57.7 kWh and 77 kWh and motor outputs ranging from 167 to 343 PS. All-wheel drive versions are also available for enhanced traction and precise control of the vehicle’s high-performance electric system.
Toyota will continue to expand its BEV lineup, aiming to introduce six new models by the end of 2026. Like the C-HR+, the upcoming vehicles will follow a traditional naming structure, making them instantly recognizable. At the same time, the company is exploring the application of electrification across other vehicle types, as demonstrated by the Land Cruiser Se concept. In the future, Toyota will introduce next-generation technologies for battery electric vehicles, including the advanced battery systems first previewed in 2023.
