Our Pre-Collision System can detect and help you avoid collisions with other vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists. It works by alerting the driver with audio and visual warnings and brake assistance. If the driver doesn’t manage to brake in time the brakes automatically engage to prevent or mitigate a collision. Car, pedestrian, cyclist and motorbike detection are possible. Additionally, Intersection Collision Avoidance Support and Emergency Steering Assist support in the day when turning at junctions and making evasive manoeuvres.

The system is using the radar of the Blind Spot Monitor to help the driver avoid a collision between an opened door or exiting occupants with vehicles or cyclists approaching from the rear. If the system judges that there is a possibility of a collision, an indicator in the outer mirror lights up and multi information display indicator together with buzzer will alert the occupants.
