The New Toyota Yaris Cross Unveiled Through a Unique Experience in Tallinn

Digital content creators Kalia Eleftheriou and Nicolas Ioannidis represented Cyprus at Toyota’s European Lifestyle Event, which showcased the design, versatility and hybrid performance of the new Yaris Cross.

Toyota presented the new Yaris Cross in Tallinn, Estonia, through a unique Lifestyle Event inspired by the world of Alice in Wonderland.

The content creators had the opportunity to experience Toyota’s new compact SUV first-hand through a journey divided into four chapters. Each stop took place at a different location across the Estonian capital and focused on a distinct aspect of the vehicle.

The experience began at the PROTO Invention Factory, located in the historic Noblessner shipyard, where the practicality and intelligent use of space of the Yaris Cross were highlighted. Despite its compact exterior dimensions, the model offers a versatile interior, with 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats. It is also available with either front-wheel drive or Toyota’s intelligent AWD-i all-wheel drive system.

The next stop was Haven House, a contemporary retreat surrounded by nature, where the focus shifted to comfort and everyday convenience. The Yaris Cross Hybrid 130 combines smooth, responsive acceleration with the efficiency of Toyota’s hybrid technology, making it equally suited to daily journeys and short getaways.

At Kultuurikatel – Tallinn Creative Hub, participants had the opportunity to discover more about the capabilities of the Hybrid 130 powertrain. Delivering 130 DIN hp and 185 Nm of torque, it provides responsive acceleration and dynamic performance while maintaining the efficiency that characterises the Yaris Cross.

The journey concluded at the seaside NOA, overlooking Tallinn Bay. Here, the refreshed design of the model took centre stage, featuring new LED lighting, refined exterior details and new wheel and colour options. Inside, upgraded materials and seats, ambient lighting and wireless charging further enhance comfort and the overall sense of quality.

A Successful Formula, Further Evolved

The Yaris Cross has established itself as the best-selling model in its segment in Europe, combining compact dimensions, hybrid efficiency, practicality and distinctive SUV characteristics.

For 2026, the range has been upgraded with a more refined design, enhanced equipment and new personalisation options. At the same time, the GR SPORT version adds a more dynamic character to the line-up.

Designed specifically for the European market and manufactured at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing France plant, the new Toyota Yaris Cross combines the intelligent qualities of the Yaris family with the versatility, visibility and practicality of a modern compact SUV.
