New Toyota Aygo X JBL Special Edition

Since its launch in Europe in 2022, the Aygo X has stood out in the city crossover segment, built around the trio of agility, spaciousness, and modern design. From the very beginning of its presence on European roads, all versions have been optionally available with an advanced JBL sound system, specifically designed for the Aygo X to redefine the in-car audio experience for passengers.

Now, this powerful and high-quality sound system comes as standard equipment in the new special edition “Aygo X JBL,” which will be available in selected European markets. The model is accompanied by a specially curated playlist titled “The Sound of Noise,” celebrating the unique character of the new edition through a mix of relaxing and uplifting sounds.

The specification of the sound system began as early as the development phase of the Aygo X, using digital models to select the most suitable components. Beyond sound quality, JBL engineers also focused on creating a lightweight system, helping to reduce the overall vehicle weight, which benefits both fuel efficiency and emissions.

Countless hours of dedicated work and precise tuning led to the development of a dynamic sound system perfectly tailored to the unique characteristics of the Aygo X cabin. The main goal was to create sound that surrounds and embraces passengers, achieved by installing two full-range speakers and two 25-millimeter tweeters in the front pillars.

At the rear of the cabin, a 200-millimeter subwoofer, which is quite large for a compact car like the Aygo X, delivers deep, powerful bass and enhances the system’s dynamic response, producing a crisp and energetic sound. In addition, a 300-watt amplifier with six specially tuned channels is mounted under the front passenger seat, generating a concert-like audio experience that is especially well-suited for rock and pop music.

The driver can easily select their favorite songs through the 10.5-inch high-resolution touchscreen display using the Toyota Smart Connect multimedia system, which offers both wired and wireless smartphone connectivity via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

In addition to the premium sound system, the Aygo X JBL Special Edition features a distinctive color combination. The two-tone body in Jasmine Silver and black creates a strong visual contrast, highlighted by black decorative elements on the front, rear, and sides of the bumpers.

The model is also equipped with exclusive 18-inch black alloy wheels, while the JBL logo stands out both on the rear of the car and on the specially designed seat backs, emphasizing the model’s unique character.
