The all-new, second-generation Toyota C-HR is now available for order

The second-generation Toyota C-HR has already made its world premiere, clearly set to continue the remarkable success of its predecessor.

The Toyota C-HR is a model that hardly needs an introduction. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that when it first entered the market eight years ago, it sparked widespread discussion thanks to its futuristic design. Over the years, however, it has delivered impressive sales figures for the Japanese brand and secured the top position in its segment.

The second-generation Toyota C-HR has already made its world premiere, and it is clear that it will continue the highly successful path of its predecessor, thanks to a wealth of technological and design innovations. Most notably, the new generation of the C-HR “plugs in,” as it now includes a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version in its lineup.

Designed and manufactured in Europe specifically for European customers, the new C-HR raises the bar in build quality while maintaining the unparalleled reliability that defines Toyota vehicles.

On the outside, the model retains, yet further enhances, its dynamic coupe-crossover profile with sharper, more striking design elements. The 20-inch wheels are positioned at the very corners of the body, while the entirely redesigned lighting units seamlessly wrap around both the front fascia and the pronounced wheel arches. A distinctive hallmark of the new C-HR’s design identity is its two-tone body finish, which visually underscores the car’s athletic and expressive character.

At the rear, the design continues to impress with a steeper roofline and a bold, full-width illuminated light bar that extends from edge to edge, emphasizing the car’s futuristic appeal.

Comfort, ergonomics, and high levels of technology dominate the entirely driver-focused interior of the new Toyota C-HR. The model features a new, fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster (depending on the trim level), which can be customized to prioritize different types of information according to the driver’s preferences. It also includes an advanced ambient lighting system and a digital key system, allowing the driver to use their smartphone to unlock and start the vehicle. A wide range of functions can also be controlled through voice commands.

The new C-HR comes equipped with the latest Toyota Safety Sense package, offering a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance technologies. Functionality has been enhanced, with new systems added, such as Steering Assist, which recognizes upcoming curves and helps prepare the driver, and Proactive Driving Assist, which automatically decelerates when approaching slower vehicles.

Although the wheelbase remains at 2.64 meters, Toyota’s designers have reimagined the interior layout to provide significantly more rear passenger space compared to the first generation.

For the first time, the Toyota C-HR will also be available in a plug-in hybrid version, combining a 2.0-liter petrol engine with an electric motor to deliver a total output of 223 horsepower. Its lithium-ion battery enables an electric-only range of 66 kilometers on a full charge. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited to 180 km/h.

At the entry level of the range is the hybrid version powered by a 1.8-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 140 horsepower. For those seeking all-wheel drive capability, Toyota offers the 2.0-liter petrol engine paired with two electric motors, delivering a combined 198 horsepower.

The new C-HR is being introduced with two special Premiere Editions. The GR SPORT Premiere Edition features distinctive GR styling details, 20-inch alloy wheels, sport front seats embossed with the GR logo on the headrests, exclusive color options, a head-up display, and a JBL premium sound system.

The High Premiere Edition stands out with its signature two-tone Sulphur exterior, while the interior features perforated leather seats with contrast stitching, a head-up display, and a panoramic roof.

The second-generation Toyota C-HR is already available to order in these two top-of-the-line trims - GR Sport Premiere and High Premiere. Prospective buyers can pre-order their C-HR online with a €500 deposit. Prices for these premium editions start at €31,900 (or €409 per month through the Toyota Easy financing program).
