TOYOTA GAZOO Racing has officially opened orders

for the new GR Supra GT4 EVO2

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) has begun accepting orders for the new GR Supra GT4 EVO2, a racing model with a rich pedigree in motorsport that has received extensive upgrades in key areas such as performance, reliability, and handling. These improvements were developed directly through feedback from teams and drivers, with the goal of continuing the model’s remarkable success story.

Since its launch in 2020, the GR Supra GT4 has sold more than 120 units worldwide. The car has achieved numerous race victories in the GT4 category across 11 countries and has secured more than 500 podium finishes. It has also won championship titles in regional series across Asia, the United States, and Europe.

The GR Supra GT4 EVO received significant updates for the 2023 season, focusing on braking, handling, and engine performance. However, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing went even further, visiting every circuit where the car competed to gather data from teams before proceeding with the development and presentation of the GR Supra GT4 EVO2.

Specifically, the ABS system has been further developed to deliver improved braking performance and cornering grip according to tyre type, wear level, and road surface conditions. In addition, gear downshift times have been reduced through a software update that optimises the engine’s rev range. This enhancement provides greater control during deceleration and increased speed through corners.

Alongside these updates, improvements have been made to the cooling performance of the engine, brakes, and drivetrain, while cockpit temperatures have been optimised to make driving easier even under demanding conditions.

These refinements make the GR Supra GT4 EVO2 easier to drive, not only for professional drivers but also for amateur racers competing in GT4 championships around the world.

The GR Supra GT4 EVO2 will make its world debut in January 2025 at the opening round of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, held in conjunction with the 24 Hours of Daytona.

In Europe, sales and customer support for the GT4, including spare parts and technical assistance, will be managed by TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Europe GmbH.
