Hybrid 48V power
Enjoy a refined drive off-road and on it. The new Hilux’s electric power steering system increases manoeuvrability and reduces off-road kickback, while the Hybrid 48V powertrain brings together the best of diesel and electric power. An electric motor-generator supports the 2.8 L diesel engine, for ultra-smooth acceleration and enhanced off-road performance with no compromise to payload or towing.

Smooth and responsive, the electric motor generator and diesel engine combine seamlessly to deliver next-level all-terrain performance. Off-road capability is further enhanced by Multi-Terrain Select, which optimises performance for a wide range of surfaces.

BUILT TOUGH

The Hilux’s rugged body-on-frame design is key to its durability. The powertrain’s 48V lithium-ion battery is positioned beneath the rear seats, so interior space isn’t compromised, and the electric motor-generator is positioned high on the engine, maintaining the Hilux’s impressive wading capability.

CAPABILITY YOU CAN COUNT ON

Ready for anything, the Hilux’s expansive cargo bed is capable of carrying loads of up to one tonne. Its suspension shrugs off rough terrain and varying load weights, ensuring smooth and stable handling no matter what’s in the back.

TOWING & PAYLOAD

Designed to make every journey easier, Toyota Safety Sense includes Low Speed Acceleration Suppression, Proactive Driving Assist and Emergency Driving Stop System. Whilst our Blind Spot monitor alerts the driver to any vehicles they might not have seen in their side mirrors, particularly when overtaking.
