With a focus on doing business the way that customers love, we have an exciting new role dedicated to driving our customer experience and ensuring a positive impact on our operation. We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer to join our IT Department in our Head Offices in Nicosia.

 

Job Summary

The IT Support Technician will provide first – line support to employees, maintain IT systems and ensure smooth day – to – day operations across the company. The IT Support Technician will provide hands on assistance to end users, follow IT policies and contribute to the overall efficiency and security of the company’s IT environment. The IT Support Technician will need to take ownership of the ticketing system, resolve, report and perform relevant trainings to users based on common findings. He/she will be trained on the ERP system and will be able to provide first – line support.  

The successful candidate will be agile, have an eye for detail, enjoy interacting with colleagues and is able to adapt an advisory role to efficiently and effectively resolve any issues that may arise. The IT Support Technician will report directly to the IT Manager.

Job Responsibilities

The IT Support Technician will be reporting to the IT Manager and will be expected to:

  • Provide user support and resolve any day – to – day incidents raised by colleagues.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and basic network issues.
  • Maintain and monitor the company’s ticketing system by logging, categorizing and updating tikets along with accurate documentation and timely response.
  • Install, configure and maintain company assets.
  • Set up accounts system access and applications for new colleagues.
  • Follow company policies and protocols to ensure security and compliance standards.
  • Perform regular IT equipment audits and identify missing or noncompliant equipment.
  • Assist the IT Manager to ensure that the company ERP is implemented, maintained, and modified to improve the operations of the company.

Desired Qualifications:

  • University Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft products.
  • Basic understanding of networking and operating systems.
  • Good command of Greek and English languages, both verbal and written.
  • Strong sense of business ethics.
  • Sound knowledge of technical troubleshooting, hardware devices set up and monitoring. 
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and respect.
