Job Summary

The Treasury Assistant is responsible for providing operational support to the Finance Department through the accurate monitoring, processing, and reporting of the organization’s treasury and accounting activities. The position ensures the timely execution of daily financial tasks, the integrity of financial records, and compliance with internal controls and established procedures along with the following duties:

  • Responsible for the daily review of the bank accounts movement and undertaking necessary accounting entries in a timely manner.
  • Oversee receipts are issued in an appropriate manner.
  • Liaising with financial controller for vendors’ monthly settlements.
  • Perform Bank Reconciliation and VISA reconciliation monthly.
  • Assist the accounting department with financial and management reporting.
  • Performing any other related accounting activities.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Processing of overhead invoices, payments and manage various day to day accounting related tasks.
  • Reconciling vendors’ statements
  • Invoicing of vehicle sales

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance or in any other related discipline or LCCI Certificates.
  • At least 3-year experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting standards.
  • Experience in the accounting of a motor trading company and Microsoft Navision system will be considered as an advantage.
  • High level of accuracy, organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel (formulas, spreadsheet formulation).
  • Fluency in verbal and written Greek and English.
