General Description of the Service

This website provides information about Toyota's products, services, and company details. It is designed to offer a seamless user experience for all visitors, including those with disabilities. The website includes, without limitation, sections on vehicle models, retailer locations, customer support, and company news.

 

Compliance Status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. The main components and templates used across Toyota websites have undergone an external accessibility audit, including both automated and manual checks.

Please note that as of now Toyota Cyprus, has not been individually tested for accessibility. We are in the process of scheduling and conducting these tests to ensure the local implementation also meets our accessibility standards.

The website is structured to ensure easy navigation and accessibility. Of the 16 WCAG criteria that the website meets, the most important features you should be able to access are:

Despite our best efforts to ensure the accessibility of our website, we are aware of some limitations, which we are working to fix. Of the 26 WCAG criteria for which the website still needs improvement, 6 criteria that are not present, and the 2 success criteria that could not be tested, the most important known limitations are listed below:

  • WCAG criterion “1.1.1 – Non-text content (text alternative)”: Incorrect or incomplete alt-texts and labels
  • WCAG criterion “1.3.1 – Info and relationships”: Incorrect use of landmark semantics
  • WCAG criterion “1.4.4 – Resize text”: Text is not 200% scalable without loss of information
  • WCAG criterion “2.1.1 – Keyboard”: Keyboard inaccessible interactive elements
  • WCAG criterion “2.4.7 – Focus visible”: Focus state not visible
