We are thrilled to announce that the Largest parade of Toyota cars has been successfully approved by Guinness World Records and Dickran Ouzounian & Co. Ltd (Toyota Cyprus) is now the Guinness World Records Title Holder! Official announcement by the Guinness World Records.

As part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the official co-operation with Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC), Dickran Ouzounian & Co. Ltd this year organised to get all Toyota fans together in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest Toyota Car Parade. The event was organised on the 7th June at the GSP National Stadium in Nicosia. The result of this event was a huge success and exceeded all our expectations, all because of the loyal Toyota fans of Cyprus.

An amazing number of 850 cars had registered for the parade, whilst when auditing the final number of cars that successfully completed the entire route of the parade which was 3.8km, there was a total number of 742 cars! (The audit took place by following the Guinness World Record rules and regulations).

The current Guinness World Record of the largest Toyota Car Parade consists of 426 vehicles by Toyota Denmark, in Bramstrup in 2013. Due to this outstanding number of cars that have gathered for this parade, Toyota Cyprus may now be the next to hold the Guinness World Record! The official approval from Guinness World Record is expected by the end of the year.

We would like to thank all our supporters on the day, Sfera FM, the AWOL team, Early Learning Centre, Laiko Cosmos Trading, Zorbas Bakeries and Squeeze Juice Bars! Giving back is important to us, which is why the event was planned for 100% of all takings to be given to the anti-cancer charity association PASYKAF.
Last but not least, a massive thank you to all Toyota fans for showing us and the world, how a small island like Cyprus can come together and break such a huge record!
