Back in 2004 we had a dream to create a contest that would unite the imaginations of children across the world. We wanted bright young minds to develop a keen interest in cars and electrify us with their creations. All we asked them was one thing: imagine what their dream car would be…
“My dream is to drive a love tank car that would convert badness to love. The love tank car is made to move in the sea and in the air”

You have to live in Cyprus and fit into one of these three age categories: Under 8s; 8-11 year olds; 12-15 year olds. Don’t forget to tell your friends and family about the contest, too. Maybe even ask your teacher to turn it into a class project.
Simply draw or paint your dream car and make sure it has a cool background so we can imagine what it’d look like on the road (sky, or even underground…). Any drawing materials can be used but no digitally created artwork will be accepted. Don’t forget to tell us how your car works and why it’s the best car in the world. Do not use a computer to do it – that’s cheating! Recommended paper size is A3.
The closing date for entries is February 12, 2016.
First, you’ll be entered into our local Cyprus competition with some Toshiba Tablets up for grabs in each age category. Then, the winners of each category will be entered into our worldwide art contest. If your design makes the final, you could be jetting off to Japan on a trip of a lifetime for the world-final ceremony in August 2016.
There are so many ways to find inspiration that can help you imagine your car of the future: create a list, appreciate nature, talk to your family, draw some doodles, play a word association game, take a walk, read a book, flick through a magazine, window shop, watch a movie, go to a museum, share ideas with friends – or just sit down, close your eyes and let your imagination run wild.
