The 9th Dream Car Art Contest

Procedures and Winners

In about 80 countries and regions, TOYOTA organizes the 9th "Toyota Dream Car" art contest. Launched in 2004, the goals of this contest is to create an opportunity for children to have fun and to understand the importance of having a dream and, at the same time, to encourage them to become interested in cars through drawing "dream cars" using their creative imaginations.

Theme: Your Dream Car

3 Age categories:

  • (1) under 8 years old
  • (2) 8-11 years old
  • (3) 12-15 years old
Artwork requirements:
  • A3 paper size
  • Any medium like color pencils, crayons, paint...

The Local Contest in Cyprus

Entry period: November 1, 2014 – February 27, 2015.
Entry location: Post your design and completed entry form to us at: “Toyota Dream Car Art Contest” Administration Office , Grivas Dighenis Avenue, P.O. Box 21567, 1510,  Nicosia,  Cyprus. Make sure a parent or guardian signs the entry form, too. You can either submit the entry directly to a specified Toyota branch.

Applicant Eligibility: Residents of Cyprus who are 15 years old and younger.
Announcement of results: March 2015
Award-Winners: The top 3 places from each age category.

Award-winners of the Local contest in Cyprus will be eligible to participate to the World contest.

The World Contest

Entry period: No later than 31st March 2015
Entry location: Japan

Awards: Gold Award, Silver Award, Bronze Award, Best Finalist, Special Award.

Announcement of results: September 2015.
Award Ceremony: September 2015.

Concept: A car that loves to take care of the environment with its many hands.

Concept: A one wheel car with huge solar panels so that no petrol is needed.

Title of the Artwork: Underwater Recycling Car

Concept: Fascinated with the undersea world and wants to preserve it.

Title of the Artwork: Caring for animals at risk

Concept: A car full of kids. It travels at sea and on land taking care and feeding of animals that are becoming extinct. The turtle gives a letter to the kids thanking them.

Title of the Artwork: Hot Dog Car

Concept: One moon when I was realy hungry, I thought of children in some countries who are starving and I dreamed of a hot-dog car helping them and giving them food.

Concept: Individual cars that can be connected for economy, relaxation and rides with friends or family.
