Front seat belts also incorporate pre-tensioners that instantly draw the seat belt back at the moment of impact, and force-limiters that release tension when a specific load is reached.
Traction control When wheels lose grip on the road, Traction Control (TRC)* uses braking and reduced torque on each wheel individually to restore grip.

Vehicle Stability Control When a vehicle is at risk of sliding out of control - going too quickly around a corner, for example - VSC* kicks in. It applies braking to the appropriate wheel and controls engine output to help maintain stability and prevent skidding.
