Toyota, official partner of the 11th IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics
Toyota was one of the official partners of the 11th IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics that took place from 10 to 12 March 2006 at the Olimpiysky Sport Palace in Moscow.
In addition to being responsible for the Championships’ official cars (Lexus and Camry models were used to transport the executives of the Olympic Committee and the IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federations), Toyota’s name appeared on the bibs of all female athletes, on the perimeter boards in stadium and on all official designations.
After the World Championships in Paris in 2003 and in Helsinki in 2005, it was the first time that Toyota was involved in the World INDOOR Championships. The World Indoor Championships are staged every two years, preceding or following the World Championships.
Toyota’s participation to the World Indoor Championships in Moscow represented a further step on the road to Osaka 2007 and Berlin 2009.
