Toyota sponsor of Team New Zealand boat at the 32nd America’s Cup

Toyota was one of the official sponsors of the 32nd America’s Cup, which took place from 23rd June to 7th July 2007, for the first time in Europe.

  • Team New Zealand is the most successful non American team in America’s Cup history and one of the most recognized brands in international sailing.

The chairman of Toyota New Zealand, Mr bob Field, announced that Toyota was continuing to support the team as one of two elite sponsors. This was Toyota’s fifth successive America’s cup campaign spanning 15 years.

We all share a vision for challenge and passion for excellence. The loyalty of the company and the people involved and their continued support was an inspiration to the team after the disappointments of 2003.
